In preparation for the forthcoming Encharistic Congress Mass at the Indera Mulia Indoor Stadium in Ipoh (June 25, 2000), the potential members of the "Enroute" Teams have come together for input sessions.

A total number of 19 attended a weekend session at the Stella Maria Centre in Tanjung Bungah, Penang on Jan 7 and 8, 2000. The "Enroute" team members (four languages) will go to all parishes in the Diocese to share on the fundamental elements on the Eucharist so as to enable a better understanding of the Body and Blood of Christ. There was a second session for the Team members on Feb 26 and Feb 27, 2000.

A preliminary meeting for the organising committee of the Eucharist Congress Mass was held at the Church of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, Ipoh on Jan 21, 2000. The members will henceforth be comprised of the laity and priests of the parishes in Ipoh and the surrounding towns, together with representatives from Diocesean Animating Team and the Eucharistic Congress Committee.
